France international Pogba has been linked with a move to a host of clubs this summer, including PSG and his former employers Manchester United.

But Spanish daily Marca claimed over the weekend that Real’s assistant manager and sporting director Zinedine Zidane had made signing his compatriot a top priority for the summer, and the wheels have reportedly already been set in motion with the request to meet the Juve hierarchy.

It is unclear whether the Old Lady will accept Real’s proposal, however.

On Monday, Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola stressed the youngster wants to remain in Turin.

“I do not see why talk about renewal of contract. Paul has a nice contract with Juventus,” Raiola is quoted as saying by Tuttosport.

The Italian publication believes this is ‘sly’, however, claiming Raiola and the rest of Pogba’s entourage are currently negotiating a new deal with Juve.

But Raiola insisted he has not had any contact with other clubs and confirmed Pogba wants to remain with the Scudetto winners and win the Europa League.

“Until now none of the other teams contacted me. We are interested only in Juventus. I think Juve and Paul have a perfect marriage and that marriage is not finished yet.”
