David Moyes is ready to enter the race to sign French international Jeremy Menez as it becomes increasingly likely that the winger will leave PSG on a free transfer this summer.

Football Direct News claims that the 26 year old is on the Old Trafford radar with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool also taking a keen interest in the former AS Roma man.

Menez has failed to live up to his billing at the Parc des Princes and has started just six Ligue 1 fixtures this term and his time in the French capital has on the whole been subdued.

David Moyes will apparently be equipped with a £200m transfer war-chest but may struggle to land big name signings without Champions League to offer, hence the Scot’s apparent interest in a free addition in the form of Menez.

The Man United boss could well be looking to freshen up his wide attacking options with the likes of Nani, Ashley Young and Luis Antonio Valencia all failing to impress this season.
