Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski is apparently ready to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer with Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund ready to offer the German forward a return to the Bundesliga according to TuttoMercato.

The 28 year old has had an indifferent second season at Arsenal and even though his form has picked up of late it’s entirely possible that Arsene Wenger would look to cash-in on the former Koln man as part of an attacking re-shuffle.
Though Podolski has been hit with injuries this term he has also spent a fair bit of time on the bench and has started just 11 Premier League fixtures and amazingly has completed just one 90 minute run-out in the process.
That said the experienced forward has scored 12 goals in all competitions and is perhaps seen by Westfalenstadion boss Jurgen Klopp as a possible replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who has already agreed a summer move to join domestic rivals Bayern Munich.
There is some speculation that Podolski could re-join his boyhood club Koln, who have secured a return to the German top tier, but one imagines a move to Dortmund may prove more tempting.
