Arsenal are reportedly hot on the heels of soon to be out of contract keeper Kasper Schemichel according to Danish source BT.

Arsene Wenger has seen his current number one starter Wojciech Szczesny enjoy a relatively strong season whilst back-up Lukasz Fabianski, who has done well in cup competitions, will see his Gunners contract expire this summer.

Schemichel is into his third season in the east Midlands and is a player Foxes boss Nigel Pearson will want to keep hold of though if a firm offer comes in from Arsenal then his chances of keeping hold of the former Man City and Leeds United man will go from slim to none.

Leicester City have secure the Championship title in a season that has seen Schemichel collect 19 clean sheets.
