The Reds defender has been called the ‘Scouse Cafu’.
Young Liverpool full-back Jon Flanagan has finally got the chance to meet the legendary former Brazil international Cafu, the man the Englishman’s attacking style of play has been likened to of late.

The highly rated England Under-21 international, dubbed the ‘Scouse Cafu’ on Merseyside, has just enjoyed a brilliant campaign at the back for the Reds, with the defender having even been named on standby by Three Lions boss Roy Hodgson on Monday for this summer’s World Cup in Brazil.
And now Flanagan has even had the chance to meet Cafu, who said earlier this week: “I am visiting the city of the Scouser on Sunday to see the team against Newcastle – I look forward to the Anfield roar!”
