Arsene Wenger sticks with reserve goalkeeper, while Steve Bruce’s Hull City lineup in a 5-4-1 formation.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has decided against recalling first-choice goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny for this afternoon’s FA Cup final against Hull City.
Fellow Polish stopper Lukasz Fabianski has played every minute of Arsenal’s FA Cup campaign this season and performed a starring role as the Gunners overcame Wigan Athletic in a penalty shootout in the semis.
Fabianski, who is out of contract next month, will be hoping for more fond Wembley memories in what is likely to be his last game for the North London club.
Right-back Bacary Sagna, who is also set to leave Arsenal this summer, starts as well.
Per Mertesacker replaces Carl Jenkinson in defence, despite the England international scoring in last weekend’s 2-0 win at Norwich City.
The only other change from the game at Carrow Road sees Tomas Rosicky make way for Santi Cazorla in midfield.
Jack Wilshere, who made his comeback from a broken foot last week, is on the bench.
Hull City have opted for a 5-4-1 formation. James Chester, Curtis Davies and Alex Bruce will operate in central defensive positions, while Ahmed Elmohamady and Liam Rosenior will play as wing-backs.
Matty Fryatt starts up front on his own.
