The 25 year old has had an excellent first campaign at the Liberty Stadium, netting 25 goals in all competitions, and is said to be keen on a move to a ‘big club’.
Arsene Wenger is keen to bring in further striking options to help offer Olivier Giroud some much needed support and now that Bony has proven himself at Premier League level the Gunners boss is ready to make a move for the Ivory Coast international.
Everton are also pursuing Bony, with Roberto Martinez looking to fill the void left by loaned in Chelsea man Romelu Lukaku. Similarly Borussia Dortmund are toying with the idea of a bid for the former Vitesse Arnhem man as they seek to replace Bayern Munich bound Pole Robert Lewandowski.
Bony cost the Welsh side a club record £12m last summer and would surely be worth far in excess of that fee now that he’s had an outstanding debut campaign in the English top tier.
Wenger has been overly reliant on Giroud as his leading central striking option, not least as the Arsenal manager prefers to use the likes of Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott in wide attacking roles.
