Youngster had been hoping to remain at San Siro.
Queens Park Rangers playmaker Adel Taarabt is set to return to Loftus Road this summer after his loan spell with Serie A giants AC Milan came to an end, according to reports on talkSPORT.co.uk.
The mercurial Morocco international was shipped off to the Rossoneri on a six-month loan deal in the January transfer window after the player had fallen out of favour with the west London club’s head coach Harry Redknapp.
However, despite managing to catch the eye during his brief spell at San Siro, it now appears as though Taarabt is heading back to the Championship outfit.
Taarabt, 24, managed to find the back of the net on four occasions in his 16 matches in all competitions with Milan, all of which came in Serie A, however, it is understood that the midfielder does not fit in with the Italian club’s new manager Clarence Seedorf’s plans for next season.
