Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is looking to bring in a new wide-attacking option and has earmarked a trio of targets according to the Daily Star.

Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado is perhaps the least known of the trio though it perhaps the most in-form of those listed by this source having scored 15 goals last term. The player’s reported £20m price-tag may however scare off Wenger.

Real Madrid’s Angel di Maria has become a less pivotal performer at the Bernabeu since the arrival of Gareth Bale last summer and his £25m price-tag may be one the north London side is more ready to meet given his top tier experience.

Even in a limited role Di Maria finished last term as Real Madrid’s leading assist maker and put in a man of the match display in the Champions League final win over Atletico Madrid.

26 year old Barcelona man Pedro is thought to be one of a host of player’s who could be culled as part of a Nou Camp clear-out but the arrival of Luis Enrique as replacement for axed boss Gerardo Martino may see the Spanish international hold fire on any exit demand as he waits to see just how prominent a part he would play in the new manager’s first team set-up.

The adaptable attacker, who can also play in a central role, is thought to be valued at £20m and is perhaps the best value of those being pursued by the Emirates Stadium outfit.

Wenger has turned to Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski in wide-attacking roles though the likes of Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla can also be used in those spots so any move to bring in new additions will presumably lead to one of this quartet seeing less first team action.
