(Video) Serge Aurier Tells Arsenal Fan He Will Sign For Gunners

Arsenal fan asks Serge Aurier if he will sign for Gunners this summer, and Toulouse and Cote d’Ivoire defender says yes.

With Bacary Sagna having confirmed he will leave Arsenal when his contract expires at the end of June after failing to agree terms on an extension, Arsene Wenger is likely to be on the lookout for a new right back this summer.

Toulouse defender Serge Aurier is a prime candidate for the role, with the 21 year-old not only having excellent defensive statistics, but contributing going forward too with six goals and six assists in Ligue 1.

He was also voted into the French top flight’s team of the year.

Although rested for Cote d’Ivoire against Bosnia-Herzegovina at Edward Jones Dome in St Louis, Missouri, Aurier sat on the bench in support of his country, and went to the stands to acknowledge the fans.

One Arsenal supporter promptly asked him if he would sign for the Gunners this summer, and the defender responded affirmatively – even if the fan’s companion tried to convince him to move to Manchester United instead.

Aurier, who is notorious for fluttering his eyelids towards Arsenal, has regularly posed in one of the north London side’s shirts on social media, and retweeted the fans’ video to his Twitter followers.
