How Wenger should improve his squad over the summer.
The 2013/14 season was a solid if unremarkable one for Arsenal, who finished fourth in the Premier League once again, but did break their trophy drought by winning the FA Cup.
However, after topping the English top tier for more days than any other side last term Arsene Wenger will be keen for his team to show more consistency and grit to hold onto a lead.
Therefore the Frenchman is expected to enter the transfer market this summer and sign a number of new players and here are the five CaughtOffside thinks will help Wenger’s men win the English title in 2014/15.
Serge Aurier, Toulouse
With Bacary Sagna having confirmed he is leaving the Emirates Stadium this summer when his contract expires, Wenger needs to find a new right-back – especially with question marks over the capabilities of backup Carl Jenkinson.
The 64-year-old has been looking at several alternatives, but having impressed in Ligue 1 over the past 12 months Aurier remains the priority.
