Newly installed White Hart Lane boss Mauricio Pochettino is hopeful of landing the teenager who has made just one appearance for the Allianz Arena side.

18 year old winger Green has impressed whilst representing Bayern Munich’s second string and has been selected in the United States squad for the 2014 World Cup finals and is certainly a player with plenty of potential.

The Florida born starlet moved to Germany at the age of two and represented the national team at youth level before switching allegiance to his country of birth.

Pochettino had apparently scouted Green whilst in charge of Southampton and Green is apparently open to a move to a side that can offer him first team action and a move to north London may tempt the attacker.

The Argentine manager has been linked with a fair number of summer signings with his former charge Adam Lallana seemingly one of Tottenham’s prime targets.
