The likes of Napoli and Galatasaray have been linked with the experienced Nigerian international in recent times, and there could still be offers for his signature in the coming weeks as the transfer deadline approaches. With Chelsea reportedly targeting Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira, it would be no surprise to see Mikel selected as the player to make way for the vastly superior German international.
