Rojo bid hits snag
Manchester United’s bid to bring in Sporting Lisbon defender Marcos Rojo may have hit a snag, with a complication over the ownership of the player’s rights, according to BBC Sport.
The versatile Argentine international has now emerged as United’s top defensive target due to his ability to play both centre-back and left-back, but it is unclear who should be receving a large chunk of his transfer fee.
Sporting have rejected an opening bid of aroiund £15.9m for his services, with around 75% of any transfer fee expected to go to a third party.
