Manchester United could be set to be frustrated in their chase for Real Madrid star Angel Di Maria as French champions Paris Saint Germain will look to revive their interest in the star should they make the funds available, according to the Daily Star.

The big-spending French champs pulled out of a £63m deal for the Real Madrid winger last week for fears it did not meet FFP regulations.

However, reports in France are suggesting that the club are still keen to bring him on board and will most certainly make a move for him again should they manage to offload a number of their current players to make room for him.

Ezequiel Lavezzi has long been linked with a move to Liverpool, while Edinson Cavani has recently been attracting interest from Arsenal.

Earlier this week it had been thought that United would step up their interest in the Argentine ace after PSG virtually declared themselves out of the running for his signature.

However a potential revived bid from PSG could hinder United’s chances of landing Di Maria.
