Wenger turns to France international after Giroud injury.

Arsenal could be set to make a move to sign France international striker Loic Remy from Queens Park Rangers, report the Mail, following the news that Olivier Giroud could be ruled out for three months with a broken foot sustained in the 2-2 draw with Everton at the weekend.
Remy also moved to Lierpool earlier this summer before the prospective transfer fell through at the 11th hour for undisclosed reasons, potentially an issue with the medical, although that doesn’t seem to be stopping Arsene Wenger from making a move for the former Marseille forward.
It had seemed as though Arsene Wenger would refrain from buying a new centre forward during this transfer window, due to the emergence of young duo Yaya Sanogo and Joel Campbell, but the news that Giroud could be ruled out for some time may have forced a change in his thinking.
Wenger deployed big-money new signing Alexis Sanchez in a false nine position during the weekend’s draw at Everton, but the Chilean toiled before Giroud was introduced, tipping the balance of the match in Arsenal’s favour and heading home a crucial late equaliser for the Gunners as they continued their unbeaten to the start of the season before a crucial Champions League tie against Besiktas.
