Reds offload Kristoffer Peterson…
Liverpool have sold Kristoffer Peterson permanently to Dutch outfit FC Utrecht, the club’s official Instagram account confirmed today.
Peterson featured during pre-season, but since the arrival of Mario Balotelli, Adam Lallana, Lazar Markovic to name but a few there was clearly no room for the 19-year-old at Anfield.
His former youth teammate Raheem Sterling has already established himself as a key Liverpool player, but Peterson sadly has none of the ability of the England international.
The Swede leaves the club having never made a first-team appearance for the Reds, and will hope to forge a solid professional career in Holland.
Liverpool captioned the post:
#LFC youngster Kristoffer Peterson has today completed a permanent transfer to Dutch side FC Utrecht. Everybody at Liverpool wishes Kris all the best with his move to Utrecht and future career #theKOP
