4. Micah Richards – Fiorentina (Italy)
Richards was hailed as the man to takeover from Gary Neville as England’s main right-back when he made his senior international debut in 2006, but he has only gone on to win 13 caps to date.
He has also lost his place in Manchester City’s team, due to a combination of his injury problems and the club’s powerful transfer policy.
Richards joined Fiorentina on loan at the start of the month. He is likely to make his move to Serie A permanent at the end of the season.
