United boss fuming after 5-3 collapse to Leicester City.Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is plotting a six-man January clearout after fuming at a number of his players in their 5-3 collapse at the hands of Leicester City this weekend.

The Red Devils were found wanting defensively again this season, with the team imploding in the second half after having led 3-1 at the King Power Stadium.

It is well known that the Dutchman tried to offload a number of his current squad during the summer, but could not complete the job after getting rid of other under-achievers such as Nani, Danny Welbeck, Shinji Kagawa and Wilfried Zaha.

Six more players now look to be in the firing line in January, and they are as follows:

The Brazilian right-back has not been a regular for United this season and didn’t take the chance to impress as he started against Leicester yesterday. With defensive improvements needed, Rafael could be one player who goes.
