Emirates Stadium side suffering injury crisis.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that injured pair Mikel Arteta and Aaron Ramsey will miss the club’s upcoming clashes against Galatasaray and Chelsea according to the BBC.
Veteran skipper Arteta suffered a calf injury whilst Welshman Ramsey pulled a hamstring, an injury that has left Wenger puzzled.
“It is a concern that Ramsey did his hamstring,”
“I don’t understand because he had a good rest this week and I didn’t play him against Southampton on Tuesday.
“It’s a surprise because he’s usually a resistant boy.”
Injuries are certainly mounting for the north London side with Olivier Giroud (broken tibia) and Mathieu Debuchy (ankle) out for a lengthy spell and Theo Walcott still a few weeks away from recovering from a knee injury that has left the England man sidelined since January.
