England lineup confirmed
Odegaard, who has been linked with potential moves to Manchester United and Liverpool, already has plenty of experience with Stromsgodset in the Tippeligaen, with Norway manager Per-Mathias Hogmo’s now feeling that the most exciting player that his country has produced in a generation is now ready to make the step up to international football.
It is a crucial game for Norway after their opening qualifying defeat to group favourites Italy, with Malta expected to be one of the continent’s weaker teams during the qualification process but far from being a simple victory, particularly in Valletta.
