The Gunners got a fantastic boost yesterday when both Theo Walcott and Serge Gnabry returned from long term injuries and rejoined full training. As usual with the North London club however, it is a case of one step forwards and two steps back when it comes to injuries.

34-year-old Czech Republic captain Rosicky is the newest addition to the doctor’s office, the Arsenal man picking up a hip injury during his side’s win over Kazakhstan in their Euro 2016 qualifying match.

Czech football writer Martin Vait recorded Rosicky’s post-match comments on his Twitter account.

The ageing star shouldn’t be as much of a loss for the Gunners this season as he would have been in those gone by, with Rosicky only playing 19 minutes of Premier League football so far this campaign.

With the growing list of injured players at the Emirates however, Arsene Wenger can hardly afford any more injuries.
