Brazil put on something of an exhibition of free flowing attacking football as they eased past Japan thanks chiefly to the efforts of one man.

22 year old Barcelona star Neymar put his side ahead with a clever run and finish after 18 minutes.

His second came just two minutes into the second half after he was found with a sublime through-ball from sub Philippe Coutinho.

The young Liverpool man then forced the Japan keeper into a save only to see the parried effort fall to Neymar who duly fired home.

Neymar grabbed his fourth, and his 40th national team goal, with a strong header from a nicely flighted cross from Kaka.
