Southgate for PM!

England’s Under-21 side booked their place at Euro 2015 by securing a 4-2 aggregate win over Croatia in a qualifying play-off.

The Young Lions won the second leg 2-1 in Croatia on Tuesday night, thanks to goals from Liam Moore and Will Hughes.

Manager Gareth Southgate was very emotional after the final whistle.

Southgate gave an impassioned speech to his players.

The speech included a few too many swearwords and also a really bad dad joke about his time in the England team.

Nevertheless, it was great to see a manager congratulating a young England team for passing and pressing.

The future is bright.
