The 19-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to some of Europe’s top clubs recently, including Paris Saint Germain and Bayern Munich, who have all been impressed with the strong start to the season he has made at the Nou Camp.

Premier League giants Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the forward, and according to reports, are preparing a £10m bid for the Barca star.

However, reports in Spain are now suggesting that Luis Enrique is putting together a new deal to keep him at the club as he remains a huge part of their future plans.

The news of Enrique’s plans to promote El Haddadi will be a bitter blow to Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.

He is so highly-rated in Spain that he has drawn comparisons to former Spain legend Raul.
