Cruz Azul and Mexico midfielder Marco Fabian has seen his goal against Puebla nominated for the Puskas Award.
The Puskas Award is an annual award given to the best goal in world football from the previous calendar year.
Cruz Azul midfielder Marco Fabian has been nominated for the 2014 award for the goal he scored against Puebla in February. It was the only goal of the game, coming in dramatic fashion in the 90th minute. Cruz Azul went on the win the CONCACAF Champions League last year and will represent the region in the Club World Cup next month.
