Former Gunners LEGEND lays into his old employers.
Ex-Arsenal striker Lord Nicklas Bendtner has launched an astonishing attack on the club, slamming them for wasting his time, according to the Daily Star.
The Denmark forward returned to the Gunners in the summer of 2013 following loan spells with Sunderland and Juventus, but failed to make any real impact in his final season for the club.
However, after just nine appearances last term Bendtner made no secret of his desire to leave the club on a free transfer at the end of the campaign to rebuild his career elsewhere.
The 26-year-old is currently setting the Bundesliga alight with Wolfsburg, and he has insisted that he doesn’t know why Arsene Wenger blocked his move to leave.
“It was a terrible situation. My last year at Arsenal was a waste of time,” Bendtner said.
“It was worthless that Arsenal did not allow me to leave.
“A club like Arsenal could easily have found someone else to play my role. They would have had no trouble finding a player who could do what they wanted me to do.”
