AMR) Raheem Sterling
Sterling was rested for the majority of England’s game against Scotland, so should be in prime condition to put Neil Warnock’s side to the sword. Because of a lack of in-form available forwards though, we’re likely to use a 4-3-3 formation, meaning Sterling should start from the right.
AML) Adam Lallana
Lallana, who enjoyed a productive international break, is likely to get the nod ahead of Coutinho – who remained on the bench for the entirety of Brazil’s win over Austria.
FC) Fabio Borini
Rodgers has hinted that Balotelli won’t start – meaning he has a choice between Borini or Rickie Lambert up top. Neither have played well all season, but Borini’s work-rate and hunger has at least been noticeable.
