Parc des Princes revisit push to sign Old Trafford star.
Paris Saint-Germain are readying a summer move for Man United winger Angel di Maria according to the Daily Express.
The Ligue 1 side had hoped to sign the Argentine over the summer but were hamstrung by UEFA’s FFP (Financial Fair Play) guidelines. If those regulations are relaxed, however, PSG are ready to make an offer in excess of £50m.
The 26 year-old only moved to Old Trafford in August and has proven something of a success, scoring three goals and providing six assists in ten Premier League starts.
Given that Louis van Gaal’s side invested a British record £59.7m in the former Real Madrid man, it is hard to imagine anything but a bid well in excess of that sum even coming under consideration.
Still, Di Maria has previously revealed that he came close to moving to the Parc des Princes side, stating, “PSG, they had a money problem and they couldn’t buy players.
“It could have been a good experience for me to go to Paris.
“I know I’m still young; perhaps I’ll go to PSG one day. I don’t know how it will all end.”
