Man United Preparing Sensational Move To Replace Louis Van Gaal As Manager?

Manchester United are reportedly offering Carlo Ancelotti a £270,000-a-week deal…

Farcical reports in the Metro are claiming that Manchester United have offered Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti a £270,000-a-week deal to replace Louis van Gaal as boss, after already losing faith with the Dutchman.

The report seems somewhat untimely considering United’s 2-1 away win over Arsenal on Saturday has elevated them into the Champions League places, while Van Gaal has dealt well with a whole host of defensive injuries.

Nonetheless, the source claims that United are not convinced Van Gaal is the man to take them forward and want to sign Ancelotti, despite the fact a deal looks almost impossible to pull off.

Spanish newspaper Marca are also mentioned here, and is seemingly their belief that United remain interested in bringing in the Real Madrid boss.

Ancelotti revealed this week that he has twice turned down the Old Trafford hot seat, first to replace Sir Alex Ferguson and then David Moyes. Last season, he guided Madrid to their tenth Champions League / European Cup success, and has shown no signs of wishing to leave.
