Manchester United’s major changes under Louis van Gaal could be set to continue this January and next summer as four first-teamers look likely to be offloaded as part of an ongoing rebuilding process, according to various recent reports.

The Red Devils are in something of a transition period after the retirement of the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson at the end of the 2012/13 season, with David Moyes’ brief time in charge ending badly, and with van Gaal now looking to put together a new-look team at Old Trafford.

Various new signings have been made, with big names such as Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao coming in this summer, while the likes of Danny Welbeck, Patrice Evra, Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand all left the club.

More could be on their way out now, with these four names supposedly heading for moves elsewhere in the near future, either in January or at the end of the season:

1) Robin van Persie

In a possible cut-price move this January, star striker Robin van Persie could be heading for a surprise exit from the club as Inter Milan show an interest in his services. The Dutchman has been somewhat below par this season, but his sale would no doubt be a bold move from van Gaal if it happens.
