Gunners set sights on exciting signing for next season.
Arsenal are reportedly set to make Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani their top transfer target for next summer, according to Fichajes.net.
The Gunners sense they may be able to do a deal for the prolific Ligue 1 attacker, who has previously hinted that he may not be entirely happy with his current situation at the Parc des Princes.
Despite establishing himself as a world class centre-forward during his time at previous club Napoli, the Uruguayan international has had to put up with playing second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic at PSG.
Still, there’s no question Cavani could make an excellent purchase for Arsenal as they look to improve their options upfront, and the north Londoners simply hope he won’t prove too expensive.
Arsenal are not known for paying over the odds for players, but have recently spent big money on established names such as Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, with Cavani the latest to come on to Arseene Wenger’s radar.
