Former Arsenal forward Gervinho has taken to social networking site Twitter to clarify recent claims that he told a newspaper he ‘hated’ his old club after failing to make an impact at the Emirates Stadium.

Tweeting about the situation, Gervinho said that some newspapers need better translators after saying he was misquoted and embedding a picture of the proper version of the story.
