Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he is hoping for an easy draw in the next round of the Champions League, reports Goal.com.

The Gunners have drawn teams such as Barcelona and Bayern Munich at the earliest possible opportunity in recent years, and the Frenchman wants to avoid such a tough draw again. The fact that they finished in second in their group will not help this, and the north London side will regret losing a three goal lead to Anderlecht at Emirates Stadium.
Their finishing position in their group means that the German and Catalan clubs are possibilities again, as well as Real Madrid. However, they could also get Monaco or Porto, who would be far easier to play against – at least on paper.
“We have been well served in the recent years,” Wenger told reporters after the game. “Maybe I will go to church over the weekend!
“I don’t think many teams want Real Madrid. We [also] do not want Bayern Munich and I’m sure they do not want us either.”
The North London club have recently seemed to turn their form around with convincing victories over Galatasaray and Newcastle United, and have now claimed victory in five of their last six matches.
