The former Barcelona star redeemed himself throughout the match, opening the scoring just before half time as well as providing a superb assist for Tomas Rosicky in the second period.
Arsenal’s game plan took a bit of a hit after Olivier Giroud was foolishly sent off, but the Gunners weathered a late storm to come out victorious.
