Stamford Bridge side chase Bayer Leverkusen wide-man.
Chelsea are reportedly tracking in form Bayer Leverkusen winger Karim Bellarabi according to Goal.com.
Though Jose Mourinho looks well stocked with talented wide-attackers it appears the Blues boss is still interested in bringing 24 year old German international Bellaribi.
The Bundesliga star is having a standout campaign, racking up eight goals in 17 starts, and earning a call-up to Joachim Low’s national team set-up.
Mourinho has elected to use Eden Hazard and Willian as his chief options on the flanks but has the likes of Andre Schurrle, Ramires and Mohamed Salah in reserve so one imagines any move for Bellaribi would entail the sale of one of more of those options.
The Chelsea boss has made good use of the transfer market since returning to Stamford Bridge and has sought to use player sales to fund moves for new additions, this approach helpfully aiding the club’s push to adhere to UEFA’s FFP (Financial Fair Play)guidelines.
