The 29-year-old has been unhappy with his situation at the Emirates Stadium this season, finding himself out of favour with manager Arsene Wenger despite a decent scoring record when he has been given a game.
Podolski recently put in a superb performance in a 4-1 away win at Galatasaray, but has still not managed to break past the likes of Danny Welbeck into the Arsenal starting lineup on a regular basis.
Inter have been the German international’s main admirers this season and now look set to land him on a temporary deal for the second half of this campaign.
Arsenal and Inter have already held talks over this move, with Podolski now to finalise personal terms to join the San Siro outfit for the rest of this campaign.
