The 29 year old German looks likely to leave the Emirates Stadium with a move possible in January and a move to the San Siro may tempt the World Cup winner.
Arsene Wenger hasn’t handed Podolski a single Premier League start this season and as such can not be all that surprised at the player’s unhappiness, which has led to a growing queue of prospective suitors, Mancini included.
“Podolski is a good player,” Mancini told Sport Mediaset.
“He is part of a list of players that we are following, so we will see what will come of it.”
Podolski has had an up and down time of it since moving to north London two and a half years ago and the summer arrivals of Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck have led to the former Koln man playing a very limited role and one that a player of his experience can not afford to endure.
