United hoping to tempt Madrid star Sergio Ramos with offer of £105,000-a-week after tax
Louis van Gaal is looking to strengthen his defensive options next summer and has identified Ramos as a No.1 target, according to the Daily Star.
The Spain international is stalling over a new contract with current club Los Blancos and the 13-time Premier League champions are hoping to swoop in.
They will face strong competition from Arsenal and Chelsea however, with Arsene Wenger reported to have met with Ramos’ brother and agent Rene.
