After being met by a crowd of Inter Milan fans, Podolski draped one scarf around his neck and hoisted another above his head.
The former Bayern Munich star has struggled for first team football at Arsenal this season, and has been extremely vocal about his desire to play. Arsene Wenger clearly doesn’t see enough from the clinical forward in training however, as his appearances so far have been largely from the bench.
The French manager claimed just a few short days ago that the interest shown by Inter for Podolski was not serious. It seems now however, that not only were the Nerazurri deadly serious about bringing him to Italy, but the Gunners are willing to let him leave as well.
