5. Delio Onis, 1971 to 1986
Clubs: Stade Reims, AS Monaco, Tours FC, SC Toulon.

Although had duel citizenship with Argentina and Italy, it was in France that Onis made his name and finished just one shy of 300 league efforts.
4. Dixie Dean, 1924 to 1938
Club: Everton.
Goals: 310.
A real legend at Goodison Park Dean was a goal machine of the highest order and a statue of the great striker stands outside the Toffees’ ground.
3. Steve Bloomer, 1892 to 1914
Clubs: Derby County, Middlesbrough.
Goals: 317.
Played at the Riverside for four years, but it was with his two spells with Derby that Bloomer really came into his own.
2. Gerd Muller, 1965 to 1979
Club: Bayern Munich.
Goals: 365.
A truly prolific striker who as well as doing so much for Bayern also scored an amazing 68 goals in just 62 games for West Germany.

Top of the pile is Spurs’ highest ever scorer and one of the best forwards in English history.
