Initially struggled when he first made the then club record £37.1m switch to Old Trafford in January 2014, but since Louis van Gaal took charge as manager the Spain international has been revitalised.

With Angel di Maria injured Mata made the No.10 spot his own over the past few weeks and has a decent tally of five goals and three assists in 15 league starts this term.
