The news will come as a welcome boost to Gunners fans who have seen their side ravaged by a host of injuries this season and their league position suffer accordingly.
The return of the club record signing will be a major relief to Arsene Wenger, who hasn’t been able to select Özil since he was injured in a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in October.
Ramsey, Flamini and Giroud will also return at the perfect time with numbers currently dwindling in the Arsenal attack and midfield.

Wenger also confirmed that Danny Welbeck would sit out the match injured, with the England international missing the 2-0 defeat to Southampton on New Year’s Day and hasn’t been seen in action since.
The Frenchman was also coy on the role of Wojciech Szczesny in the side against Stoke. The Polish keeper has been under fire in recent days over his reported fine for smoking; however Wenger refused to be drawn on the issue and simply said: “I haven’t selected the first eleven yet.”
