The German returned in their 3-0 win over Stoke City…
Arsenal ace Mesut Ozil has tweeted his happiness at his successful return from a knee injury.
The 26-year-old came off the bench in the 73rd minute to take part in what ended up being a 3-0 victory over Stoke City. Although he did little of note once on the pitch, it was good for the fans to see their record signing back in action after several months on the sidelines.
Alexis Sanchez starred for the Gunners, scoring twice and assisting Laurent Koscielny for the opening goal. Ozil was happy with his winning return to the side, praising it as a team performance despite the great individual performance from his Chilean teammate.
This result was payback for the 3-2 defeat that the Potters inflicted on the North London club back in December. The loss had the result of causing pressure on manager Arsene Wenger, but now with players such as Ozil and Theo Walcott coming back to full fitness Arsenal can look to improve and get back in to the top four in the Premier League.
