Arsenal look to be closing in on the signing of Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Marcelo Brozovic for just £6m, marking their first piece of business for January, according to the Metro.

The Croatian playmaker, 22, is one of his country’s most highly-rated talents after some superb performances for club and country, and his fine displays have also seen him tracked by Serie A giants AC Milan in recent times.
However, Arsenal look set to win the race for his signature as Arsene Wenger seeks to enhance his options in midfield, with the likes of Mikel Arteta and Jack Wilshere both currently out injured.
Wenger has had to recall Francis Coquelin from a loan with Charlton Athletic after his injury crisis in the middle of the park, but Brozovic should now prove a quality purchase for the club.
A £6m fee looks to have been agreed between the two teams and sources seem increasingly confident that Brozovic will make his way to the Emirates Stadium this month.
