The 33-year-old has become a forgotten man at Loftus Road this season, with his only appearance coming in the Capital One Cup.

And Redknapp revealed today that SWP has had plenty of opportunities to leave the club, either on loan or permanently, but that he’s refusing, as he’s on such good wages where he is.

SWP is thought to be on around £60,000-per-week in west London, and even Redknapp said that he doesn’t blame him for sticking around.
