Manchester United are said to be preparing a quite unbelievable transfer deal in the summer which would see the club sign Paris Saint Germain striker Edison Cavani with Radamel Falcao heading in the opposite direction.

Whilst Falcao isn’t yet a fully fledged United signing, currently he’s on-loan from AS Monaco, a deal is said to be in place between the two club’s which only needs Louis van Gaal’s confirmation.
And today’s editions of L’Equipe says United have decided to sign the Colombian striker this summer but would immediately swap him with PSG’s Edison Cavani who would then head to Old Trafford.
The report says Cavani’s ever deteriorating relationship with Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a key reason behind the move and means the Uruguayan will most likely not be at the French club next season regardless of this proposed deal.
Whilst such a move would be quite a spectacular transfer switch, it would be a risky deal on United’s part by buying the, so far, hit and miss Falcao only in order to sell him.
