Another striker who failed to make the grade at Liverpool, despite a massive transfer fee. The expectation was too high and the injuries added up.
14) Jonjo Shelvey (Charlton Athletic)
Shelvey enjoyed plenty of promising moments at Anfield and some were surprised when he was allowed to leave on the cheap to Swansea. Despite moments of brilliance however, he arguably wasn’t Liverpool quality.
13) Jordon Ibe (Wycombe Wanderers)
An extremely promising youngster. The only reason he’s not higher in this list is due to the lack of opportunities he’s had so far.
