According to ‘super agent’ Jorge Mendes, in an interview with BBC Sport, he claimed there is only one other genius in football that could have replaced Sir Alex Ferguson.

Mendes claims that Manchester United’s executive chairman Ed Woodward can find a way for the club to deliver trophies once more, but has one major issue to contend with:
“It’s completely impossible to find someone like Sir Alex Ferguson because he’s a god, he’s a genius and to find a genius is very difficult,” Mendes told BBC Sport.
Nonetheless, the ‘super agent’ believes that there is only one man whose ingenuity can rival Sir Alex Ferguson’s – and that man is ‘The Special One’ – “You have one in England – Jose Mourinho.”
However, given the Portuguese’s return to and love for Chelsea, Manchester United will have to hope Van Gaal does eventually come up trumps.
