Liverpool are interested in signing Lyon striker Alexandre Lacaztte, who would be a good fit for Brendan Rodgers’ side, according to Ligue 1 expert Julien Laurens.

Speaking to The Sport Review, Laurens admitted the talented young Frenchman could be on his way out of Ligue 1 this summer, and that Reds boss Rodgers is a fan of his ability and style of play.
“I think if Lyon win the league, he will go,” Laurens said.
“If they qualify for the Champions League by finishing second or third I think he might give it another year.
“I think Brendan Rodgers really likes him.
“Rodgers likes those types of players that can play anywhere up front and with a lot of movement, so I think he could eventually fit in well there.”
Lacazette’s fine form this season has also seen him linked with Chelsea and Arsenal.
